a couple months ago (I KNOW, i’m slow at blogging…) my cousin and best friend and I went to Nelson! It was a long drive but we all had different work schedules and had to do it in one day. It was sooo much fun, and so nice to get away for a day with my besties. We explored around some pretty views, checked out a few super cute shops downtown, got the yummiest vegetarian food at The Yellow Deli, went thrifting, laid around at the lake for a while, and grabbed dinner at The Outer Clove(garlic, anybody???). Marnie saw a moose in the wild for the very first time(!!!!!!). On the way back, we caught a few minutes of a country music festival…but were too tired to dance. And we took a LOOOOT of pictures (see Marnie’s blog post here). If I had a job that allowed me to work online or something, or if there was enough doula work in Nelson…man. I’d be packed yesterday and moved the day before. It’s so peaceful and down-to-earth! Loved it.
Anyways, enough rambling…here’s the pictures (Which Marnie has been reminding me about for months, because as mentioned above…I take forever sometimes…).
